Terms of Service

By creating an account or using GrydBase, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the platform. These Terms apply to all users — workspace owners, invited team members, and customers who access a client portal.

GrydBase is operated by Caleb Media Studio, LLC, a Florida limited liability company ("we", "us", "our"). References to "you" mean the individual or business using the platform.

GrydBase is a business operations platform for contractors, roofers, service businesses, and similar trades. It provides CRM tools, business email, website publishing, domain management, contract signing, invoicing, and a client portal. Features available to your workspace depend on the subscription plan you hold.

Some features use AI assistance (powered by Anthropic's Claude models). AI use consumes Credits deducted from your workspace balance. We do not guarantee the accuracy of AI-generated content and it does not constitute professional, legal, financial, or medical advice.

You must provide accurate information when registering. You are responsible for all activity under your account, including actions taken by team members you invite. Notify us immediately at hello@calebmedia.co if you suspect unauthorized access.

Each workspace has one owner. Owners may invite additional members and assign roles (owner, admin, editor, viewer) that control what each member can see and do. You are responsible for managing permissions within your workspace.

Workspace slugs and custom domains are unique identifiers. Once a slug is taken it cannot be transferred. If you connect a custom domain, you represent that you own or have authorization to use it.

Plans are billed monthly in advance via Stripe. Current pricing:

Add-ons billed monthly: extra users ($15/user), dedicated SMS line ($20), domain bring-your-own ($10/domain). Domain registration is charged at registrar cost plus $10/year. Credit top-ups (500 Credits for $20) expire after 12 months and are non-refundable.

We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice. Continued use after notice constitutes acceptance of new pricing. Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. and subject to their terms of service.

Subscription fees are non-refundable except as required by applicable law. If you cancel mid-cycle, your workspace remains active through the end of the billing period.

AI features consume Credits from your workspace balance.

Credits are deducted at time of use. If your balance reaches zero, AI features will return an HTTP 402 error until Credits are replenished. Plan Credits are included monthly; top-up Credits expire 12 months after purchase. Credits have no cash value and cannot be transferred between workspaces.

GrydBase can provision a business email address (e.g., you@yourbusiness.com) on domains you register through us or connect via Bring Your Own Domain. Email delivery is handled by Resend, Inc. You agree not to use email features to send unsolicited bulk email, phishing messages, or any content that violates CAN-SPAM, CASL, or other applicable laws.

Monthly sending limits apply per plan. Exceeding limits may result in temporary sending suspension. We reserve the right to terminate email access for accounts that generate excessive bounces, spam complaints, or abuse reports.

Domains registered through GrydBase are registered via OpenSRS (Tucows) and are subject to ICANN policies. Domain registration fees are non-refundable after the grace period. You are the registrant of record for any domain you register. We manage DNS on your behalf as part of the service; you may export your DNS records at any time.

If you connect your own domain (BYOD), you remain solely responsible for that domain's registration, renewals, and any associated fees at your registrar.

Agency plan subscribers may remove GrydBase branding from the platform interface and replace it with their own logo, colors, and custom domain. White-label rights are limited to the appearance of the dashboard — the underlying technology remains GrydBase. You may not represent the underlying platform as entirely your own proprietary software to third parties without prior written agreement.

White-label configuration is tied to your Agency subscription. If your plan downgrades, white-label settings will be deactivated and default GrydBase branding will be restored.

GrydBase includes a client portal feature that allows your customers to log in and view invoices, contracts, jobs, and messages. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information presented to your customers through the portal. Your customers' use of the portal is governed by your relationship with them, not by these Terms.

You retain full ownership of all content, data, customer records, and files you upload or create through GrydBase. You grant Caleb Media Studio, LLC a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and transmit that content solely as necessary to provide the service. We do not claim ownership of your content.

GrydBase, its logo, and the underlying platform code are owned by Caleb Media Studio, LLC. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our intellectual property beyond the right to use the platform as described.

You may export your data at any time while your account is active:

• CRM contacts — CSV export of all contacts and associated notes
• Invoices and contracts — PDF downloads of individual records
• Email — MBOX or EML export of your inbox and sent mail
• DNS records — Export of all DNS zone entries
• Site content — JSON export of website block content

Upon account termination (whether by you or by us), you have 30 days to request a full data export. After 30 days, data may be deleted and cannot be recovered. To request a bulk export, email hello@calebmedia.co.

We design GrydBase for reliability and aim to maintain the highest possible uptime. However, GrydBase is built on top of third-party infrastructure providers — including Vercel (hosting), Supabase (database and authentication), Stripe (payments), and Resend (email delivery). The availability of these services is outside our direct control.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted access to GrydBase. Scheduled maintenance, infrastructure incidents at third-party providers, or force majeure events may result in temporary unavailability. When planned downtime is required, we will provide advance notice via your workspace or email where reasonably practicable.

GrydBase shall not be liable for any service interruptions, data delays, or functionality degradations caused by the unavailability of third-party infrastructure providers. We will work in good faith to restore service as quickly as possible in the event of an outage.

You can view live status information for our infrastructure providers at their respective status pages: Vercel, Supabase, Stripe, and Resend each publish public status dashboards.

You may not use GrydBase to:

• Send unsolicited bulk email or operate a spam operation
• Store, transmit, or generate illegal content
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or resell the platform
• Circumvent billing, usage limits, or access controls
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Use AI features to generate deceptive, fraudulent, or harmful content

Violation of these restrictions may result in immediate suspension without refund.

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your workspace billing settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We may suspend or terminate your account immediately for violation of these Terms, non-payment, or conduct that we determine in our reasonable judgment causes harm to other users or to the platform.

Upon termination, your workspace and its data will be retained for 30 days before permanent deletion. Domain registrations will remain active until their expiry date regardless of platform cancellation.

GrydBase is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Caleb Media Studio, LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including lost profits or data loss, arising from your use of or inability to use the platform.

Our total liability for any claim arising from use of GrydBase shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on liability, so some of these limitations may not apply to you.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Orange County, Florida, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by displaying a notice in your workspace. Continued use of GrydBase after notice constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
